Pullman Railroad Car

Private Tour

Our April Members Only Event is a private tour of a Pullman railroad car that has been carefully restored by David Hudgins.  Many may recall his engaging presentation on the history of the Railroad Circus and the Circuses that came to Ennis between 1880 and 1944.

DATE: Thursday, April 16, 2026

TIME: 6:00 pm

LOCATION: 303 Matthews Street, Waxahachie, TX 75165-4325

DIRECTIONS: From Ennis, take HWY 287 west towards Waxahachie.  At Reagor Springs, turn left onto Pigg Road. Continue (2 miles) on Pigg Road until FM 877 (Howard Road). Turn right and continue past Lake Waxahachie (5 miles) until Matthews Street.  Turn right on Matthews Street.  The Hudgins home will be on your right.  The distinctive house is built to resemble a railroad depot.  Enter the main gate and park to the left on the grass.
